To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the legendary YZF-R1, Yamaha are joining forces with the British Superbike Championship to make the traditional summer race meeting at Brands Hatch a very special event for all R1 owners. Get involved with the races and enjoy some very special R1 promotions over the weekend including discounted tickets and an owners on-track parade* when you arrive on your R1. And with the McAMS team sporting the iconic read and white livery its going to be a very special party!
You'll also be able to meet the celebrity R1 riders of the past, witness the exclusive display of R1 race and road machines, join in exclusive competitions to win great prizes for concours, best paintjob and more. Exclusive R1 ticket gives exclusive inner area motorcycle parking and a parade lap of the circuit on race day, 22nd July.
For inner area parking arrive at the main entrance on your R1 by 10am on Sunday 22nd July.
Vehicles are requested to remain in position until the end of the event, however you wish to move their vehicle to please find a Brands Hatch marshal.
Arrive on your registered Yamaha YZF-R1 – arriving on an unregistered vehicle will result in refused entry and direction to the public car park.
Tickets are vehicle specific and cannot be transferred between vehicles.
Tickets are for the rider only.
Machines must be road legal.
Riders must be aged between 18 and 70 years of age and hold a valid, full motorcycle licence. Passangers must be aged between 18 and 70 years of age.
Full motorcycle licence and certificate of motor insurance applicable to the rider and machine must be produced at signing-on. Each bike will be subject to a safety inspection.
The maximum speed of any participant must not exceed 60mph. The speed of the parade will be directed by the Race Director and will be controlled by pace cars. Participants are not allowed to overtake a pace car.
Full leather clothing (one or two piece which must be zipped together) in good condition or suitable protective motorcycle clothing, including boots and gloves, designed for road use must be worn. (two piece garments that are not zipped together, paddock jackets, jeans, trainers etc will not be allowed on the track)
Safety helmets must be worn and fastened properly at all times and must be legal for road use.
